Now that you are on the OSPRE journey one of the things you need to make a priority is to ensure you keep abreast of current news, here we have given you a helping hand!!
As well as looking at local ,national and global news you should also be researching the 33 role specific responsibilities which underpin the whole process. Every station is designed with the role responsibilities as the theme or vehicle to testing the actual competencies. The competencies in turn are reflected as Behavioural statements within the marking guide and are tested as Observable behaviour. If you display it you will get the mark if it is represented on the marking guide.You can not be scored for thinking it,you must say it !!so verbalise your thoughts.The scalars which represent 50% of the marks are a sliding scale outlining each specific observable behaviour but analysing how well the candidate performed within each statement. So the key is to be succinct and thorough in what you display within the five minutes.
